ODED was the name my grandmother, painted under.

I was very close to her, and when I started my own web and app studio, borrowing her painter’s name felt like a way of keeping a little piece of her with me — and in remembering that making things should still feel personal.

That’s also where this slightly outdated paint program comes from. It’s part homage, part nostalgia, and hopefully a little more fun to wander through.

ODED is mostly me, with friends and collaborators joining in when a project calls for it. I design and build websites and digital experiences with a soft spot for things that feel playful, tactile, nostalgic, or just a little unexpected.

The work changes from project to project, but I like to think a bit of ODED always finds its way into it.
